Is Heather Harmon Dead

Please note an interesting initiative Legambiente significantly entitled "commuters" The initiative for the first time test to monitor the "commuting" and the world / universe of us commuters. As they write on their own initiative site:

commuters is the new campaign for a rail Legambiente stronger local and modern train travel means fewer cars on the roads, less pollution, more livable city. For this we want to train to all for a fair mobility and sostenibile.Oggi local rail, the trains used every day by hundreds of thousands of commuters to reach work and school, is in poor condition: the times are almost never met, the carriages are old and dirty, user information is insufficient. Against this systematic disruption, in recent years have been created dozens of associations and committees of commuters: their goal is to get a quality local rail transport, which gives dignity and rights to almost 2 million Italians who travel daily by train to the needs and recognizing the usefulness social and environmental impact of travel by train rather than car.
With commuters, Legambiente to offer a megaphone to all citizens commuters who want the right to mobility efficient, safe, clean, seeking to travel in dignity, to arrive on time in the job, not having to sit between bugs and cockroaches. Here is the PDF of the brochure to download

UPDATE 22/11

The Best Tin Foil Boat

Successful Sunday Ecological

It 'really was a great initiative this Sunday Ecological Environment organized by the municipality of Pomezia, Pomezia from commuters and Legambiente. The event proved a great success both at the collection point in front of Middle School Horace, that the appointment S. Palomba at the station. Here at ten o'clock in the morning, a time certainly not easy, as the festival day, commuters are presented without hesitation, people accustomed to heel elevator, which certainly does not intimidated by the alarm. It's not every day to find volunteers on Sunday morning arm themselves with rakes, brooms, wheelbarrows, bags and lots, lots of good will to clean up the station of their country from dirt and dall'inciviltà of those with extreme rudeness, have decided that the station could become a landfill. The station in Pomezia, as everyone knows, because of remoteness from the town, is not the center of attention of local police and law enforcement in general, and in years been used as a true open dump who was to unload its waste. During the day, commuters have found the most incredible waste, such as three motors, a sofa, some washing machines and even an old boot! And there are no shortage of classic bags of rubble, dozens of shoes (odd) and whole bags of dirt home. But this has not stopped our "heroes" and after about three hours of effort, via the station is back to being clean, at least for a few days.
The event saw the participation of a dozen commuters, certainly not much compared to the hundreds every day that they move to Rome and Neptune, but it is true that the result was truly exceptional.
We hope now that our fellow citizens to stop using Station Street as their personal landfill and we hope that every time the traffic police be mindful of commuters and make a trip to the station to control the situation.
The Committee also wishes to thank commuters Pomezia Environment Councillor Stephen Garzoli for organizing the event and Silvano Simone and the City of Pomeroy for coordinating the work.
